The Valley of Baton Rouge 2010
The Baton Rouge Valley of the
Scottish Rite and Plains Commandery
#11 held a joint observance of their respective Obligatory Days on Easter Sunday
morning at the Baton Rouge Scottish Rite Temple. Venerable Master
Nicholas Auck presided as the Acting Wise Master over
the relighting and rededication program. Afterward, Father Mark Turner, of All
Saints Anglican Church, presented an enjoyable homily on the Resurrection of
Christ. The members of Plains Commandery #11,
also of Baton Rouge, provided an honor guard for
Father Mark and the Scottish Rite team members.
Both York and Scottish Rite Bodies enjoyed the day so well, that plans are
already underway for the 2011 observance.
